Who owns the literature in the Telling Eros catalogues?

In short: You do.

The Standard Catalogue

Any work of yours that is published to the Standard Catalogue may also be published elsewhere at your discretion, as long as you are legally allowed to do so.

The Exclusive Catalogue

Work that is published to the Exclusive Catalogue must be exclusive to Telling Eros. If we find out one of your pieces has been published elsewhere, it will be demoted to the Standard Catalogue. If this was your only exclusively published piece and you no longer have any work in the Exclusive Catalogue, you will also stop earning commission until you publish a truly exclusive story to the catalogue.

Demotion and Removal Requests

If you decide later that you would like to publish one or more of your exclusive stories elsewhere, you may submit a demotion and/or removal request.

If you would like to keep the story on our platform to keep earning commission from it, you may have it demoted to the Standard Catalogue.

If the story is to be published exclusively elsewhere, you must give us 12 months notice. We will retain it for up to 12 months before taking it down. Please provide us with a link from which our readers may find this piece in the future.

To place a demotion request, go to our contact page and select ‘Demotion Request’ from the subject drop down.

To place a removal request, go to our contact page and select ‘Removal Request’ from the subject drop down.
